What You'll Do:

• Manage the full cycle of accounts payable, including receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
• Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and resolving discrepancies.
• Process employee expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger accounts.
• Support audit preparations by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable and general accounting.
• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with internal teams and external vendors.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience with automated AP systems.
• CPA candidacy or certification.
