We are seeking a Group Housing Technician for our Safety Assessment site located in Reno, Nevada.
Responsible for performing operational, administrative and technical tasks to provide comprehensive care for all nonhuman primates at the site, including: daily health observations, feeding/watering, sanitizing primary and secondary enclosures, environmental enrichment, handling and restraint, generating and recording data and related tasks. Assist with the movement of animals and stocking of supplies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Education: High school diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.) required.
• Experience: None.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
• Certification/Licensure: None.
***The pay range for this position starts at $19.75. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
