Job Title: Bilingual Customer Service Representative (Japanese)
Job Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bilingual Customer Service Representative (Japanese) to join our client and support their healthcare customer service operations. This remote, temporary-to-hire position is open to candidates within an hour of Philadelphia, PA; Columbus, OH; Salt Lake City, UT; Houston, TX; or Bloomington, MN. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer support by assisting members with benefits, claims, enrollment, and other inquiries in both Japanese and English.
Compensation:- $20.98 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience
Work Schedule:- Monday to Friday
- 37.5 hours per week (normal business hours)
Key Responsibilities of the Bilingual Customer Service Representative (Japanese):- Respond to inquiries regarding benefits, claims, enrollment, member portals, and ID cards
- Deliver excellent customer service and ensure a positive member experience
- Communicate clearly and professionally in both Japanese and English via phone and email
- Resolve complex issues by navigating multiple internal systems efficiently
- Document customer interactions and follow up as needed to ensure resolution
- Collaborate with internal departments to provide accurate and timely information
Qualifications and Skills for the Bilingual Customer Service Representative (Japanese):- Native-level fluency in Japanese; strong proficiency in English (verbal and written)
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
- Strong communication skills, including professional word choice and clear grammar
- Ability to manage multiple systems simultaneously while engaging customers
- Previous call center experience preferred
- Background in healthcare or medical terminology is a plus
