This role is for an Operating Room Registered Nurse responsible for providing skilled nursing care during surgical procedures. The nurse will collaborate with the surgical team, ensuring patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes. A minimum of two years of experience in a similar setting is required, with expertise in neurology and orthopedics preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Providing direct nursing care during surgical procedures.
- Assisting the surgical team with instrumentation and supplies.
- Monitoring patient vital signs and condition throughout the procedure.
- Maintaining a sterile surgical field.
- Preparing patients for surgery and post-operative care.
- Documenting patient care accurately and completely.
- Collaborating with other members of the surgical team.
- Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures.
- Demonstrating expertise in neurology and orthopedics surgical procedures.
- Utilizing robotic surgical systems as needed.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
- Minimum of two years of experience as an Operating Room RN.
- Expertise in neurology and orthopedics surgical procedures.
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with robotic surgery.
Special Considerations:
- Schedule: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, for 13 weeks.
- Geographic Restriction: Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the facility.
- Experienced travelers preferred, demonstrating versatility.
Scheduling:
- Part-time (3 days/week).
- Shift: Day shift (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM).
