Job Highlights:
SLUCare Physician Group, a member of SSM Health in Saint Louis, Missouri is seeking a board-certified / board-eligible Pediatric Dermatologist for a full or part time faculty position in the Department of Dermatology. Rank and tenure will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The position will support an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor as well as a graduating Fellow and will provide an immediate strong clinical practice, with opportunities for both clinical and translational research, within the Department and across Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
The Department of Dermatology was established in 1992 and there has been a strong Pediatric Dermatology presence since that time. The Department provides dermatologic services to the Saint Louis area as well as several surrounding states. Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital has provided a wide range of pediatric services since 1956.
Our Dermatology program offers the opportunity to gain experience professionally and contribute to the education and training of future Dermatologists. Our practice includes two thriving sites and access to Saint Louis University Hospital and Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. The Department of Dermatology is composed of ten faculty including dermatopathology, cosmetic dermatology, Mohs surgery and medical dermatology. We have a young, dynamic, and growing Department, with effective and supportive faculty mentorship and a strong institutional and community-based referral network.
Saint Louis is a large metropolitan area with a broad selection of culture, arts, and education including a symphony, opera, theatre, ballet company, art museum, and zoo. Home of the 2011 World Series Champions St. Louis Cardinals and 2019 Stanley Cup Champions St. Louis Blues, there are many opportunities for the sports enthusiast as well. The region has affordable housing, excellent public, and private schools, and is home to several major universities. Quality of life professionally and personally is rich and most enjoyable. Several major cities including Chicago are within driving distance and easily accessible by air.
