Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the smooth and efficient flow of goods into and out of the facility. You'll manage day-to-day operations, ensuring all processes are completed in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to company policies and industry regulations. As a leader, you'll provide guidance and support to your team, ensuring successful and efficient deliveries and inventory management. You'll also collaborate with other departments to optimize logistics and improve overall operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
Lead and mentor a team of shipping and receiving staff, promoting a positive, productive work environment.
Monitor inventory levels, conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
Work closely with other departments, such as sales and production, to streamline operations and resolve any logistical challenges.
Implement and maintain safety protocols to create a safe working environment for all team members.

Minimum Qualifications:

At least 2 years of experience in shipping and receiving operations, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role.
Strong understanding of inventory management systems and logistics processes.
Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
Experience with warehouse management software and automated shipping systems.
Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CLTD).

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.
