This role involves preparing and reviewing various types of tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing clients with expert guidance to optimize their tax outcomes. Responsibilities: + Prepare and examine tax returns for individuals, businesses, and various entities across federal, state, and local levels + Enter and maintain client data accurately using Lacerte tax software + Review financial records to verify compliance with current tax laws and guidelines + Engage with clients to collect necessary documents and address any tax-related concerns + Spot opportunities for tax savings through eligible deductions and credits + Stay informed on the latest updates and changes in tax regulations + Coordinate with colleagues to ensure accurate and timely filing of returns + Contribute to tax planning strategies and provide advisory support as needed Requirements Requirements: + Demonstrated experience in preparing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and various business entities + Skilled in using Lacerte tax software + Strong knowledge of partnership and entity taxation + High level of accuracy and excellent organizational abilities + Effective written and verbal communication skills + Capable of handling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines Preferred Qualifications: + CPA or EA certification + Background in tax planning and advisory services + Previous experience working in a public accounting environment Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
