Key Responsibilities - Prepare detailed, accurate estimates, bids, and proposals for commercial roofing projects
- Review blueprints, conduct take-offs, and evaluate project requirements
- Collaborate with sales teams to deliver complete proposals that meet client deadlines
- Ensure accuracy in scope, pricing, and contract terms
- Manage change orders, purchase orders, and project transitions
- Participate in pre-construction meetings and hand-offs to project managers
- Track job costs and analyze post-project results to improve future bids
What You Need To Succeed - Proven experience as a Commercial Roofing Estimator with expertise in multiple roof systems
- Strong understanding of commercial roofing construction, materials, and warranties
- Proficiency in Edge Software for estimating
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Excellent blueprint reading, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
